Original building design should consider lintel capacities to accommodate loads imposed by Machine Tool and Fabrication fabric roll-up doors. The door framing should incorporate guide rails, jambs and sufficient headroom; plus mounting plate at the header. A six (6) inch minimum thickness of concrete at the base of the doorway is required. Jamb space at the sides for curtain overlap and drive units should be taken into consideration initially.
