We design lightweight, durable doors
for a variety of buildings.

Para-Port Fabric Bottom-Roll Doors from Machine Tool and Fabrication offer significant cost, maintenance and safety advantages over conventional sliding or overhead doors. Our patented design doors are used in aircraft hangars, factories, grain elevators, marinas, fire stations, steel mills, cement curing plants and many other types of buildings. They can be readily installed on new installations or as a replacement for existing doors.

Pushbutton controls allow doors to be stopped at any point in opening and closing operations.

All Para-Port Fabric Bottom-Roll Doors include a five (5) year prorated warranty on the curtain material, and a one (1) year guarantee on the components. Units are backed by a nationwide installation and service distributor organization. Factory supervision is available, if desired. Units comply with most local building codes.

  • Door material is translucent -- floods inside with natural light; permits personnel to engage in normal inside working activities; reducing electrical cost.

  • Allows sun to penetrate and helps heat building which reduces fuel bills.

  • Bottom roll-up design contains heat in building when door is partially opened.

  • Single panel construction eliminates mullions, cracks between panels and tracks in floor -- again, reducing heat loss and saving on fuel.

  • Models ranging up to 145 feet wide and 50 feet high.

  • Doors and drive units are self-storing above header -- require no storage pockets at jambs.

  • Year round trouble-free operation... doors won't stick in ice or snow.

  • Keeps hangar free of birds; also eliminates wind rattle.

  • Doors are practically maintenance-free. Panels are washable...just hose down to make them bright and new-looking.

  • Fabric door material is fire safe -- self- extinguishing in 2 seconds.

  • Fabric door material has proven long service life...with installations from Alaska to Florida.
